The Laguna Beach Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees is comprised of individuals who are committed to the advancement of local philanthropy. The primary goal of the foundation is to encourage a greater level of charitable giving for the benefit of our entire community.

The foundation’s aim is to ally with and help enhance the resources of:

                           •
Local charitable organizations
                            Local donors
                            Professional advisors

The Board of Trustees of LBCF has considerable expertise in charitable giving and will make itself available to both educate and assist others in areas of charitable giving such as estate planning, gifts in wills, living trusts, retirement plans, charitable remainder annuity trusts, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, retained life estates, bargain sales, life insurance, etc.

LBCF can provide asset/investment management and oversight for reserve and endowment funds such as:

Donor Restricted Endowment Funds: A fund which has an investment goal of producing income, a portion of which might be spent to support other charitable organizations. The principal amount would remain intact (in perpetuity).

Please feel free to contact us for more information on any of these gift strategies.

LBCF will also assist other charitable groups with information on important tax and compliance matters with respect to the governance of their own organization and structure.

LBCF maintains a website with direct links to other charitable organizations in the area. This website is updated frequently and includes descriptions of these other local charities including a calendar containing announcements about their coming events and functions.
